Hello, and welcome to my web site.
|
Let me take a moment to tell you a bit about myself, my law practice and my company, Family Law Center in Casper, Wyoming. I won't bore you here with my resmué, but I'm happy to provide credentials to prospective clients during consultation, if requested.
I was born and educated in Michigan, earned my B.S. in psychology in 1987, graduated with honors in the top of my law school class in 1992 and was named Outstanding Female Graduate Student. I served as President of the Women's Law Caucus and helped organize a CASA program and a rape prevention program at Northern Illinois University.
I've been practicing law since graduation and have also been proactive in domestic violence prevention. I moved to Wyoming in June of 2000 and created my own law firm, focusing on the areas of family law, domestic violence, business, estates, and real estate.
I've served with the Wyoming Coalition Against Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault. I currently serve as the Chairperson for the State Bar of Wyoming's Legal Aid Services Committee, Chairperson of the Forms Subcommittee of the Citizen's Access to Courts Committee and I serve on the Board of Directors for Children's Nutrition Services and Seton House. I have trained FBI personnel, mediators, advocates and other attorneys in domestic violence protection and prevention.

Divorce, custody and family related issues, as well as those dealing with your home and business can be very emotional and distressing. As an attorney and counselor, I believe my role is not only to serve as a representative in the courtroom, but to offer all of my education, training and experience to find and pursue the best possible outcome in the best possible manner. I can be extremely aggressive toward the opposing party if necessary, but as a trained mediator, I also understand that solutions can often be found through gentler means. In all cases, I treat clients, children and others with kindness and compassion.
